This limited edition by Mantas de Grazalema is the result of a firm commitment to 100% Spanish, natural, sustainable, km 0 products.
It is produced from historic Spanish Merino sheep herds, registered in the official genealogical studbook of the Merino breed, a 100% native breed. These sheep graze freely across the steppes and dehesas of south-western Spain, specifically in Extremadura and Andalusia, with unrestricted access to pasture and water, ensuring the sustainability of the natural environments in which they live and full animal welfare.

This way of life allows for an ethical wool production, enriched by the natural environment and offering exceptional physical properties: fineness, softness and strength. The result is blankets with an extraordinarily soft and warm texture, while remaining durable, insulating and remarkably lightweight.

Historic Spanish Merino wool has a very low fibre diameter variability coefficient, as these herds have remained isolated from external genetic influences. This produces a homogeneous wool of outstanding softness, allowing excellent performance during the spinning process. The fibres interlock easily, creating a yarn that is exceptionally soft yet strong and insulating.
When woven using the traditional techniques and expertise of Mantas de Grazalema, these yarns give rise to sustainable wool blankets with distinctive, superior quality.

Lo que más destaca es la suavidad increíble de la lana merino; es ligera pero abriga. ​Al ser de color natural, tiene una elegancia rústica preciosa que combina con todo, y se nota desde el primer tacto que es una pieza artesanal hecha para durar toda la vida. ¡100% recomendada!
